Transitioning from Bar Salts to EDGE LIQ: What Retailers Need to Know
As EDGE Vaping continues to evolve its product portfolio, we’re pleased to share an important update regarding our nicotine salt e-liquid ranges that will be available to order going forward.
We currently offer both Bar Salts as well as EDGE LIQ for nicotine salt e-liquids under the EDGE brand, which has raised some questions of what the differences between the two ranges are, which is why we have written this blog to answer any questions and clear up any confusion regarding the two.
As we approach 2026, we will begin phasing out the Bar Salts range and EDGE LIQ will become our only nicotine salt e-liquid offering moving forward. This transition is designed to strengthen our brand consistency, simplify retailer stock management, and align with future market and regulatory developments.

Same Premium E-Liquid But With More Streamlined Branding
It’s important to note that the e-liquid in EDGE LIQ bottles remains unchanged from what’s in Bar Salts. Both Bar Salts and EDGE LIQ are manufactured to the same high standards at our state-of-the-art facility in Manchester, UK.
Bar Salts achieved exceptional success with consumers, and we’re retaining that proven formula under the refreshed EDGE LIQ branding to ensure a seamless experience for both retailers and end consumers.
Updated Packaging: Future-Proofing To Be Regulation-Ready
EDGE LIQ features a simplified, professional packaging design, replacing the vibrant Bar Salts packaging design. This move is a proactive step taken by us to future-proof the range against potential UK regulations relating to plain packaging for vaping products, as referenced in the initial publication of the Tobacco and Vapes Bill.
The new design maintains clear flavour differentiation through subtle colour used on the carton as well as the bottles, but still offering a clean and compliant aesthetic without compromising shelf appeal. We will continue to keep our retail partners informed as packaging legislation develops.
Expanded Range: New Flavours and Nicotine Strengths to Meet Consumer Demand
In response to consumer and market insights, EDGE LIQ introduces new, exclusive flavours not previously available in the Bar Salts line, including:

• Blueberry Ice
• Peach Ice
All EDGE LIQ flavours are available in 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg nicotine strengths, ensuring greater flexibility for consumer preferences and retail variety.
What This Means for Retailers Of EDGE Nic Salts In 2026
As we move through the remainder of 2025, Bar Salts SKUs will be gradually discontinued as remaining stock sells through. From 2026 onwards, EDGE LIQ will represent our sole nicotine salt brand, simplifying your product listings and ensuring continued access to a best-selling, regulation-ready range.
